I am now waiting on the final release of Ubuntu 7.10 and Kubuntu 7.10. A lot of cool new development has gone into these releases and I will upgrade my Kubuntu systems soon. I also downloaded the OpenSUSE 10.3 ISO for the DVD, all 4.22GB. I like OpenSUSE but I hope they have fixed package managment. It is a cool distro but package managment and was so hosed I gave up on 10.1 and 10.2. Friends do NOT let friends runs Vista!
Live well!

Life with Kubuntu 7.04
La Vita Loca! Tried to update my #1 Kubuntu 6.10 box, to 7.04. A major crater about 75% of the way into the upgrade. Installed Kubuntu via the 7.04 CD and downloaded Ubuntu-Desktop over the net. I will try to recover my /home directory on dead partition.
Moved to DSL 3.0 Mbps/384 Kbps and it rocks so far. Works great with Ubuntu/Kubuntu - I average around 186kbps or so.
Hooking up a LinkSys WRT54G (I might move to a LinkSys WRT54GL later!) to route the XP PC, Linux (Ubuntu/Kubuntu and SUSE 10.2 PC) and my Panasonic Toughbook laptop with wifi. The toughbook has been on 7.04 and its great! Thanks for all the developers. I am just a hardware guy...
